Management change at Eurofins Analytical Services Hungary Kft.

Dear Partner,

The Hungarian corporate group of Eurofins has become the leader in the Hungarian laboratory services market in recent years, thanks to its outstanding professional performance and coordinated acquisition activities. Our main objective remains to provide our partners with laboratory testing and other complex services of the highest professional standard. 

Following the change of ownership in 2022, Eurofins Analytical Services Hungary Kft. in Budapest will be continuously restructuring its organization to achieve the above goal. In the next step, the owner has appointed a new CEO, Alex Nimród Kishonti, an experienced manager widely recognized for his performance within the Eurofins Group.

Dr. László Zanathy, our current CEO, founded the Knowledge Center in Újpest more than three decades ago, and together with his colleagues developed it into a leading large company, and in recent years, he has integrated the company into the world's largest, market-leading laboratory network. As part of the process, he will gradually hand over his responsibilities to Alex Nimrod Kishonti, with whom he will run the business in parallel during the transition period, until July 1 this year.

Eurofins Analytical Services Hungary Kft. has been operating under a new name for more than a year now, providing its customers with environmental analysis and pharmaceutical testing services in two major areas. In the next period, Dr. László Zanathy will focus on the Biopharma business, responsible for pharmaceutical testing, and Alex Kishonti will concentrate on the environmental field. Dr. László Zanathy will hand over his responsibilities to the younger generation and will continue to work in an advisory role at the company from July 1, providing strategic support to the environmental testing business.

Zoltán Palotai has been successfully building up the environmental business unit for thirty years, and under his leadership it has become the major player in the Hungarian market. Zoltán will continue to play a central role in the business unit, and will now act as a company director with independent decision-making authority and signature rights in the environmental field of Eurofins Analytical Services Hungary Kft..

As part of the gradual transfer of tasks, Dr. Adrienn Micsinai takes over the management of QualcoDuna Proficiency Testing Hungary Nonprofit Kft. from April 1.
