Asbestos is a severely fibrogenic and cancerogenic substance. When introduced into the lungs, it causes irreversible tissue proliferation and asbestosis, mesothelioma or even the cancer of the lungs may be formed. Our laboratory is at the disposal of our clients with expert services related to asbestos decontamination, including accredited sampling and testing operations.
Services provided:
- on-site inspection visit and collection of material samples
- identification of asbestos in the collected material samples
- determination of concentration according to the number of fibres using phase contract microscope or electron microscope
- professional supervision of asbestos decontamination and air space checking measurements (background measurement, leakage measurement, purity measurements)
